Privacy Policy

Ajna ("Ajna", "we", "us") provides software that helps wedding and event vendors turn a sales conversation into a reviewed, branded price quote and a follow-up calendar invite. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Ajna web application at ajnadesk.com and the services offered through it.

We only handle the data we need to run the product for you, and we never sell your information or the information of the people you quote.

1. Information we collect

Account information.

When you create an Ajna account we store your name, email address, and the organization you belong to, so we can sign you in and keep your workspace separate from every other vendor's.

Information you provide to run your business.

Your price lists, quote details, client and event information, and the sales-call transcripts you choose to bring in from connected services. This is your business record — it belongs to you, and we process it only to provide the service to you.

Google account information (only if you connect Google).

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you choose to connect it, we request access through Google's standard OAuth consent screen and receive:

Your email address and basic profile (openid, email) — used only to show you which Google account is connected.
Access to events on calendars you own (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.owned) — used only to create the follow-up calendar invite when you approve a quote, and to read event data solely to confirm the connection works and to avoid creating a duplicate invite.

We do not read, collect, or store the rest of your calendar. We do not access your contacts, Gmail messages, Drive files, or any other Google data.

Technical information.

Standard log and device information (such as IP address and browser type) needed to operate the service securely and diagnose problems.

2. How we use information

To provide, secure, and operate the Ajna application.
To build your quotes from your own price list and send them from your own connected email.
To create the follow-up calendar invite you approve, on the Google Calendar you connected.
To communicate with you about your account and important service notices.

We do not use your information — including any Google user data — for advertising, and we do not use it to train generalized or foundational artificial-intelligence models.

3. Google user data — Limited Use

Ajna's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

We use Google Calendar data only to provide the follow-up calendar-invite feature you asked for.
We do not transfer or sell this data to third parties, except as needed to provide the feature, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger — always consistent with this policy.
We do not use this data for advertising.
We do not allow humans to read this data, unless we have your affirmative consent for a specific item, it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

4. How we store and protect information

Your Google authorization is stored as an encrypted refresh token using AES-256-GCM encryption at rest; the plaintext token is never written to disk or logs. Access to production data is restricted to the minimum needed to operate the service. We use reputable infrastructure providers to host the application and database, and they process data only on our instructions.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your information or any Google user data. We share information only with the infrastructure providers that run the service on our behalf (for example, application hosting and database hosting), under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only to provide their service to us; when required by law; or in connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

6. Retention and deleting your data

You can disconnect Google at any time from your Ajna settings, or by removing Ajna's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we delete the stored Google authorization token. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at support@ajnadesk.com and we will delete it, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

7. Your choices

Connecting Google is optional; the rest of Ajna works without it. You may access, correct, export, or delete your information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.

8. Children

Ajna is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
